Life and growth with an illness affectionately known as, "Arnie".
Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweights them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:16 - 18
For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also the comfort of Christ overflows.
2 Corinthians 1:5

I'm going to share this with my best friend who is in the beginning stages of filing for divorce from her physically and verbally abusive husband. (They've just begun court proceedings) They have one daughter together in addition to a child (hers) from a previous relationship that also turned verbally abusive. Being the victim to abuse is a tough cycle to get out of when you're accustomed to it. Thanks for sharing a video that can help her, and many others, hear that they deserve so much more than what they're expecting in this life and the next.
Thank you for sharing this Dayna! I will be praying for your friend and that that the Holy Spirit would give you the words to say and her the ears to hear.
